We are beyond excited to announce the opening of Jacqui May Photography's brand-new studio, arriving just in time for your holiday sessions! This space has been a long-awaited dream in the making, and we can’t wait to share it with you. After years of planning and months of hard work, our photography studio is finally ready to welcome families for holiday portraits that will become cherished memories.

A Labor of Love: Transforming the Space

Nearly 11 years ago, we purchased our property with the vision of one day transforming its unfinished, detached two-car garage. Over time, that space became more of a storage area, a "someday project" that waited for the right moment. That moment came in February 2023, when we officially began turning the unfinished garage into what is now our beautiful new studio.

The process has been a labor of love. The first phase involved essential updates—adding heat and air conditioning to keep the space comfortable year-round, installing new windows to allow natural light to flow in, and framing the interior to give the structure new life. By the end of 2023, we made significant progress, completing insulation and adding sheetrock to transform the space from an empty shell into a real working area.

A Vision Brought to Life in 2024

In 2024, the studio truly came to life. We installed new flooring that perfectly complements the light, airy feel of the space. Electrical work, trim, and a fresh coat of paint followed, ensuring every inch of the studio feels professional and inviting. Whether it's family portraits, holiday-themed sessions, or milestone moments, this studio will offer a comfortable, private environment for every session.
